"Do bridal showers really happen in a tropical area?" Wow that is ignorant. You know colonialism is a hell of a drug right? And because of that, "western" wedding culture has permeated our poor uncultured indigenous minds. So yeah, people of the tropics have bridal showers. And lots of colonizers have their wedding events in the tropics too.

If friendo was hit with a hotel kitchen mixer they would be dead or in critical condition. I have worked in large kitchens and even the smaller mixers are heavy as hell. One falling from shelving could crack flooring.

What the hell is a "Lei flower"? I have sewn leis with at least 5 different flowers not to mentioned other materials. I have Aunties who have done way more.
