Response 11/11/2021 Imagery: The giant fish's mouth was as large as one of the icebergs they were sailing around. He had three rows of teeth that encircled the opening of the orifice and his tiny eyes glinted like rubies in the sunlight.

Response 10/15/2021: The motif that I am reading now is suffering and pain because the Callahan children's mother locked herself in year dark room and would not leave because her children went missing. However, now she finally realized that since she stopped shopping with her girlfriends, going to hair appointments, or going to the gym, she realized that she didn't miss any of that and she only missed her children.

Response 10/8/2021: The motif of the story has changed since I last read it but the only problem is I have no clue what the new motif is.
