Heart wrenching story. The story is quite true both to the times when it occured as well as the series of events that might have occured. The author has put in some tremendous research work. A fascinating account of the Indian resistance against fanatic colonial forces. A lot of 'modern' biases are absent and it shows the harmonious communal life of Pre-British Hindu India which was disrupted by the Portuguese.
