Jeez, I wish I wasn't such a slow reader. It's taken me two months to get to this point. However, I am enjoying this extended tale. It certainly gets a bit too verbose at times (I really like page-turners and try to write that way in my own books) but sometimes the extra detail is warranted. Sometimes. It would make great material for a TV series.
