I like this book but am stumbling over some of the characters names. A scene where the young man Zidane encounter Amarilis often described only as the blind girl:
"Gazing into your eyes, sometimes I feel as if you can really see me," he says gazing into the white eyes of the blind girl.
She quickly pulls his hand from her chin & she turns her face to the other side & adds, "Please, never touch me again."
