This came in a pile of books my wife bought. She's been kind of making fun of me lately for how squeamish I am about media, which I didn't know I was, and honestly if it wasn't for that I probably would have bailed on this already. So far this is one of those books that seems to be trying to make a critique of racism, misogyny, and violence by being really racist, misogynistic, and violent. Which I don't totally buy?
