Christopher's dad has come to the police to find Christopher. The cop from before gets on the train with Christopher. Christopher has to pee. Then he hides in the bathroom and the cop can't find him. Christ is scared and doesn't want the cop to take him back to his father. I predict that this will go badly when they try to take him. Though, he seems to be around a lot of nice understanding people.

Christopher almost got hit by a train. A man pulled him by the shoulder to save him. Christopher tried to catch Toby (his rat) and when he grabbed Toby by the tail the rat bit him on the thumb. This reminded me exactly of people trying to help Christopher and him hitting them, like the cop. Christopher wanted Toby to be able to smell his hand so he would know that it was him. What is the sense that he needs?

Christopher is trying to navigate train stations in London. He is very nervous and feeling sick from all of the people and the noise. He describes how to him the train coming in sounded like the building was going to collapse and he thought he was going to die.

Christopher gets down from the shelf and exits the train. In this part he thinks about evolution and how most people believe in God because they think that everything is too complex to be by accident, but he points out that logic will show you that mutation and heriditable traits are what make change. People ask what good is a half eye, but an half eye is better than no eye and the half eye survives and breeds.

Chris gets a ticket and is headed to London. He explains why time is a problem for him. Because time doesn't exist like space seems to exist. At least there are things relative to one another. This is why a timetable and what is going to happen in time is so important to him, because otherwise he feels lost in time.

Christopher makes it to a train station. He is very uncomfortable because of all the people, smells and activities. A policeman comes to talk to him and he is comforted because he likes cops. He thinks about telling the cop that his father killed Wellington and wonders if the cop would arrest his dad.

Christopher is trying to run away to London to live with his mom. This is very difficult for him because he is having to traverse new places. Chris says "I see everything." This is why new places are difficult or any changes in familiar places.
