Some of these poems have imprinted such strong visuals upon me. Particularly: "Gourd Crafting"; it was so animalistic, but because of that I'll never forget the lesson of ego. Many in this collection have been strange while others have been so soothing to my soul. I listen when I can't sleep in the middle of the night. Sometimes I replay the same poem over and over again, letting it wash over me like waves.
