just reading the part about the fake pro-war protest on april fool’s day, and i thought the author was such a performance artist whose works were more substantial and meaningful than most of the self-absorbed actual performance artists out there. those illegal punk shows, providing art and community space via squatting, organising a decentralised anti-war parade… i can’t fathom how deep his creative juice flows

This collection of old zine articles and other writings from the author just reminds me of why I was so quickly disillusioned by the current zine culture and drifted away from the scene. There are still political zines trying to convey real important messages, but so many zines these days are all about I'M SO SPECIAL LOOK AT ME I'M SO DIFFERENT HEAR WHAT I NEED TO SAY MEMEMEMEMEMEMEME and I just couldn't deal with it
