I was watching the film version of Cats a few weeks ago and now I realize that movie could have used one of the characters in this book.

I saw Cats on stage once, many years ago, and enjoyed it. I already knew and loved the poems, and the dancers were not pretending to be cats, but merely inspired by them. Much better.

But hey, put it on if you want to get rid of guests.

I'm officially sad. The last person in my house was a plumber. Instacart handed me groceries yesterday, though! I'm thinking maybe putting my house up for sale to tempt a realtor to drop by.
I had a plumber round yesterday, too. However, despite high infection rates, there are very few restrictions, so things feel dangerously normal, even though they're not.

Things aren't normal, that's going to take a long time. "Those Were The Days, My Friend, We Thought They'd Never End, We'd Sing and Dance Forever and a Day..." as the song goes. But they did.
