This felt very fanfic to me from the start and apparently it was on AO3 before becoming a publish book. Not sure of the fandom yet. Since I’m not done reading, I didn’t want that knowledge to distract me. Will probably not rate this one since my opinion of it seems to be in the minority.

Apparently it was an original story with no attached fandom but still has a very fanfic vibe to me with a fanfic slow burn structure
