also keep forgetting how much of a father figure alden is to sophie at the start of the series. why'd shannon have to ruin his character😒 he's literally so slimy and gross in legacy

in my rereadings of this book i always forget how little the cast of characters know about the black swan and the neverseen; I'm pretty sure they don't even know the name of the neverseen until book 3🤔 and rn no one knows that sophie is a telepath. also forget how sad this book is.

the way im extremely surprised to see dex in almost every scene because he is basically non-exist in the latest three books😤
