Started it all over again; this book is a mess! I really like the demonstration of Kabalistic mythology and the underlying philosophical concept is sound. But there is so much conjecture and conspiracy delivered along with it that it hurts my head! I'd like to understand the symbology, mostly for games and fiction, so I'm also unsure if that is worth studying a system of fortune telling I wouldn't use anyway...

While explaining the key to the major arcana, they make two things clear. (A) that there are other series of enumeration than those presented in the given book. (B) That those series too uphold the key to the YOD-HE-VAU-HE. From these I deduce that I should make my own series after studying theirs. In other words, to formulate my own Ultimate Key. As much is suggested by many philosophies, after all.

In answer to my own question: This Ultimate Key simply is useful. In so many symbols it illustrates something very essential about human nature. The things we live with: science, logistics, economics, are human made and therefore hold our essence. Compliance forbids me to get into detail, but at my company I was reminded of the Key. I entertained myself by applying it to the situation, and did gain valuable insights.

I only just learned the ultimate key in correspondence to the minor arcanum in but a few examples of its application. I could spent weeks of extracting symbolical and philosophical meaning from these applications and would still be far from exhausting them! Though as enriching and amazing as it is, I admit I'm still ignorant of the use of all this.

Paying more attention to details again, it's nice to see they made copy-paste errors already back in 1892. :D It should be four time "King 1. 2. 3." and four times "Queen 4. 5. 6.", but you get one "Queen 1. 2. 3." in the mix.

The Forgotten Books Scan has missing diagrams in their scans. I suppose it really serves best to use their subscription and only buy prints after you made yourself familiar with the individual scan in particular.

Reasonably, when you think about it. Ancient texts and culture often indicate that barbarism of morale, such as often witnessed today, was unimaginable back then.
