Chapter 9 - I like the philosopher's observation that a family is not democratic but participative. Democracy presupposes equality of rights without hierarchy, while in a participative relationship, the requests are respected under pre-established norms of conduct. The author explains well the difference between being authoritarian and having authority.

Chapter 16 - Cortella has the gift of the word and knows how to conduct a good conversation, but there were several passages and conclusions without much or any depth. I even feel the lack of bibliographic references in his works—a dense theme, but a simple approach maybe for a short podcast or interview.

Chapter 3 - I think I read this author's books because I know I’ll find gaps susceptible to criticism. Even more so when he deals with such controversial themes, like family, which is permeated with a worn sense of morality.
