As is with ALL books by JCO, it is stunningly written, but also stunningly sad. Her writing elevates it beyond just a "woe is me" story, into a laser-focused account of the loss of one's one true love. I am only 1/3 done, but know that by the end, I will come to a full understanding of what it is to reach the other side of a tunnel of the deepest despair one imagine.
