This was my default mode when I tried reading Valerie Bowman in the past. 😩😩
@Nicolette, Thank you. It might get interesting now that both main characters are traveling on a ship! @preeti, this book has espionage, which is one of my least favorite tropes, so that could be one of the main reasons for my skimming.
And with such a promising title :(
