إن هؤلاء الذين يدّعون الاكتفاء بالقرآن هم في الواقع لا يكتفون به و لا يمكنهم فهمه من دون علوم و مصادر خارج القرآن الكريم كالتفسير و النحو و اللغة و الحديث و كل هؤلاء من التراث المنقول عبر العصور
لا يمكن للمسلم ان يكتفي بالقرآن لمعرفة كيفية أداء الواجبات التي فرضها الله سبحانه و تعالى على عباده

Qur'anic proofs re the legitimacy of the sunnah:
"Fight those People of the Book who do not believe in Allah, nor in the Last Day, and do not take as unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have declared as unlawful."
"If you quarrel about something, revert it back to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day."
Ie Muhammad ﷺ must be obeyed & gives orders through the sunnah outside the Qur'an.
