Notes:
(1) You'd think, with all the Batman books, there'd be at least one decent Jim Gordon Batman story.
- Seems like the whole thing wasn't anyone's pet project, like every other weird DCYou concept, so no one had a personal stake in making it interesting.
(2) Batman's got the best rogue's gallery, yet Gordon starts out fighting nobodies.
- Build up some bonafides first!

Notes:
(1) First arc reminds me of that 6th season of "Dexter," when the show started to mudslide downhill.
- It's got the same sort of religiously-perverted, tableau-building serial killer.
(2) The story itself is a fine enough cop procedural, but I'd appreciate some reason behind these crimes beyond generic psychopathy.
- You can't just explain everything away with crazy.

Notes:
(1) I have very low expectations for this. It's the final volume of the series before the big Rebirth reboot, and so everyone was focused beyond this.
- Past the reboot, none of this will have mattered. It's the very definition of padding.
(2) Tomasi's been disappointing. His run on "Batman and Robin" was great, but his work on this series thus far has not been good.
