Don’t forget that we were often arrested by the police, after all. I don’t want to play the martyr here but I was arrested sixteen times, taken into custody almost as many times, and given a suspended jail sentence of sixteen months. So it wasn’t all just a question of Resistance mythology – we really were arrested, frisked, interrogated.
