So far, I love this book. I got about 40 pages in, then decided to start over and pay closer attention to a few things.
Still have to see how it all turns out, of course, but the Waking Engine has the potential to be my new "favorite book I have read in years."
Edison's prose is challenging, in all the good ways -- he makes it worth the effort.
