The parts in the present day are interesting and should be enough. The flashbacks are unnecessary. We should be learning details about the past through Tink’s storytelling instead. The style of writing is just too Precocious Middle Schooler for me.

The parts about Neverland history are better than the actual story.

Very confused for the first few chapters until I realized it wasn’t just an alternate ending to Peter Pan, but a COMPLETE retelling
