By this point the book has managed to have me empathising with Ove to the point I do think he might be better off dying and wish he would for his own sake. I just want the cat to do well.

More than halfway through & no quotes to pique my interest nor any humour for me, starting to get fed up of the writing style a bit, only technique author seems to be able to use is simple metaphor.. However this makes it easy to read without having to focus too much, with events straightforward enough to be engaging in a light way that holds my attention, like watching an easy going tv show before bed, ok for me atm
