I'm glad he sort of made up with his mom. I wish both of his parents would take more of the blame on themselves. Damien makes mistakes regularly, big and small, don't get me wrong, but he's not the only one with apologizing to do. Communication is key, people!

I'm crying! Poor Damien. I get (somewhat) where Gordon is coming from, but poor Damien! It's only somewhat a mess of his own making. Honestly, the poor kid needs therapy.

Eh, I take it back. Kat's a decent girlfriend. She and Damien really care about each other. I'm still not certain they have staying power (for life, anyway) but she's not that bad. I'm glad the side characters have improved over the course of the book.

This is hitting me in the feels so hard! Besides Damien, Amelia and Riley take the favorite character awards. I started off disliking Riley, but he and Damien have a great frenemy relationship.
