Holiday madness limits reading time, so I am enjoying this in fits and bursts. The characters are strong enough to withstand reading in fits and starts: I pick it up and within a paragraph I always know where I am. And look forward to more. Very glad there is another after this one!

I bought this sight unseen after I read the first one, which I had thoroughly enjoyed. I opened it last night, and ended up powering through a third of it during one of those insomnia donut-holes from 1:30 a.m. to almost four.

I'm beginning to think of this series as comedy of manners, with dragons, and with an intriguing substrate of religious question, handled with balance and humor. LOVE the dragons!
