The Chinese refer to themselves as "traitors", who does that?! No one! Seriously?

I get it, they are big meanies but would they think of themselves in that light? No! Of course not. Unless they are Chinese characters written by a Japanese fellow who, sadly, for all his quoting of history books should really know better.

Oh boy...I figured it'd come to this but the "Chinese be EVIL!" angle is becoming really awful. It is particularly awful as we were just reminded of the Marshall plan yet again, complete with a date, 1947...now, when we think of the aftermath of WWII and China in relation to Japan...yeah.

Why can't these authors just stick to the gorilla roach storyline?

And this talk of Japan having betrayed the States "back then", is this WWII or some other event that took place in this fictional future?

Four days into this and only now is Shokichi telling the crew about the smarter roaches...seriously, are these people trying to get themselves killed? And is taking a shower really a priority in these circumstances...?

Sure, the roaches have not appeared in a while but it's their planet and at ANY time they can suddenly spring an attack. But hey, gotta be nice and clean, I guess...
