Think I know why this is called "Scars and Stripes." I actually do like Lance and Nora's dynamic here, Nora being a combination of corny and horny with her quick quips. Also like the fact she gives him a Snoopy bandage at one point. Still reading. Will finish this quicker than I expected.

So from what I understand, this novella serial is a prequel to Reisz's Original Sinner series, which makes me feel a little better considering it's been a while since I've picked up any of the books from it. As such, I'm going to treat this as its own experience. I originally got all 5 parts as galleys, thought I didn't have access to them anymore, but found them on my Kindle. So I'm marathoning them. Reading now.
