i don't think i have ever listened to a book that had so much potential, but was also so lacking.
narration is okay, not amazing.
but the writing is choppy, ideas are not finished, and i don't feel invested in the story.
feels rushed. She is different and has lots of magic, the prince and guard are similar to her and help her. but prince is with another girl? but likes her? and then there is this other guy? IDK
