This isn’t really Schwab’s fault, but I’m awful bored of contemporary New York as a setting. I’d so much rather be reading about Addie’s escapades in war-torn Germany, prohibition era Chicago, 1960’s LA, and definitely New Orleans (though hopefully this is coming). Anything other then handsome young adults who work at charming, hole-in-the-wall New York bookstores.
