Halfway through. Looking forward to getting deeper into the run. As someone who knows next to nothing about the character Thrawn I’m waiting to see when the villainous traits come out. Right now he comes off more as a highly intelligent and stoic tactician. I’m sure we’re getting there.

Somehow I’ve managed to never read a Star Wars novel, but I’m glad I’m starting. I don’t know how I came across Thrawn. In fact I’m not even caught up on the films yet! I might have just been browsing the Kindle library and their algorithm struck a note. I’m about a third of a way through the book and it seems to be laying the foundation for the additional books in Timothy Zahn’s run.
