Oh the depth of Spurgeon's words on his own depravity and God's grace. It makes one want to weep with despair after 5 or more pages of him discussing how he tried to work his way into gods sight. How he couldn't even pray to Christ but just weep knowing his own sinfulness. But then the moment God shows him the path of righteousness, oh how amazing it was to read this. Spurgeon clearly was a great writer and preacher.
