All my life people have told me that I am naive for thinking that love is a triumphant force, that compassion can conquer anything and that being vulnerable is power. I am here to tell you that all of these things are true. And love transcends all, because when we lead with it we are at our best.

Thank God for books. I enjoyed reading and I wanted to do well at school, so I turned to books for succour and solace.
