My forth attempt with this duo. Because I’m a sucker for the first half of all their books so far—they’re so emotionally intense!—and I’m also an eternal optimist, hoping I’ll eventually find THE ONE that holds on to that tension for the whole book instead of only the first half.

Definitely this duo’s MO: extreme and excellent conflict between two fascinating and unique men, that, around 60%, is mostly resolved and they are in an established relationship. Then… three or so too many detailed sex scenes and a focusing on external conflict with society/other characters (which is interwoven, not sprung upon the reader, I’ll give them that.)
