There are SOOOO many historical errors that take me out of the story. If modern expressions and specific mentions of The Prince Regency, Beau Brummell and Lord Byron weren't included, I would think this was set later in the 19th-century. There are also typos, etc. and the Marquess's style is wrong. Marquess of ___ is the same as Lord ___ not Lord last name. The mystery at least kept me guessing.
