This book is so special to me.
"You know He lives, and because He lives, we know that death has lost its sting. Your commitment to Him should be so strong that you no longer fear death as do those with no hope of the resurrection."
Prayer can take on many forms. To name a few-desperation, repentance, intercession, surrender, commitment, emptying, and adoration. "Pray without ceasing" :)

•prayers of adoration are rare because they require us to offer something to God. that something is to go beyond ourselves-to deny the flesh + wants & needs so that we may be unconditionally surrender ourselves and seek His face so that we may be able to grow in intimacy with Him.

This reminds me of a question I was asked once. It made me tear up a bit. To be a Godly woman who yearns for His love. That is precious.

i truly adore this book. i wanted to fall in love with it again, so that’s what i’m doing here on the eve of my 17th birthday. also, diary entry vibes but i’m sitting in a white robe while drinking hot chocolates next to my fake fireplace and tiny Christmas tree. it’s such a lovely vibe for reading
