I think the most interesting part in my book is when it is revealed that Jessamine is married to Nate. Jessamine has been a Shadow-hunter, and it turns out that she is married to a bad guy and has been spying on them. I was really surprised when I found this out because Jessamine seemed like a good character.

If the book was in a different setting, like Africa, I think that the story line would be a lot more sophisticated, like there would be no manners or etiquette. Also, meeting people to talk would be less official.

This book is like Twilight in some ways, for example, Bella had to choose Jacob or Edward, and in this book, Tessa is torn between Jem and Will. I think Tessa should stay with Jem because he has respect for girls and Will does not.

If there was a part the author should change, it would be the part when the head warlock of London visits the institute. It really dosnt contribute to the story line so far, all Tessa does is wonder at his greenish skin and horns.

If there was a movie, I think I would like it if it had good quality, and the monsters and magic looked believable. I think they should make a movie

The theme of the book is fantasy because there are monsters and unrealistic creatures. Another theme could be drama, because Tessa cant seem to decide between Will or Jem.

I picture Tessa having brown hair, and big gray eyes. She has light freckles and a pale face. She has a slight frame, and a soft voice. I picture her like that because she seems quiet, and lonely, so that image comes to mind

If I could be any character in the book, I would be Sophie, the maid at the Institute. I would want to be her because she can work for the Shadowhunters, but not fight that often. She could hear what was going on in the Institute, and if I were her, I would try to be friends with Tessa, because Tessa doesn't really have any friends at the Institute.

If I could talk to the author, I would ask her where she got her inspiration to write such amazing fantasy writing. The names and terms are very colorful, and it would take great inspiration to come up with names and a plot like that.
