Same!!!! I was overwhelmed with the amount of times I just so casually clicked on this app and then to frown when it wasn't working. As outdated as this app is, it truly feels like a safe comforting place Everytime

It was basically all day for me and now I know how much I use this app. 😂

Apparently there was an AWS outage earlier in the day and basically a bunch of sites like Netflix, Disney+, etc. were down as a result. It’s not 100% back as I know a few Amazon services are still down but looks like they’re making progress! Twiddling my thumbs until I’m able to download new KU books 🤣

Yeah, it did happen yesterday night😩😩😩 I started to reread an old fav on audiobook just to take my mind off.

I give credit to the IT people at my workplace for sharing that bit of knowledge haha, but yeah updating book statuses and stuff is such a part of my routine now that it's strange if I'm not on here at least once a day?? We are so addicted 🤣 Tbh my brain's too wired to read anything more than 100 pages, so I've been devouring audiobooks/novellas lately. If you have any short story recs, holler at meeeeee~

These aren't a lot as I've don't have much luck finding mm novellas but this feeds your cannot be bothered with novels moods because SAME.

If you're on the GR website, there's an "add book/author" option above the comment box that you can use to add a link or cover of a book (selection at the bottom of the menu) :) I'm surprisingly on the app a lot so it's annoying to have to hop on my laptop to use but it's a super handy tool!

I'm attributing this general feeling to an end-of-the-year reading slump 🤷🏻‍♀️ But ahhh thank you so so much for sharing!!! and yessss true. I swear I complain about he's outdated-ness 5x a day and it still doesn't get old. And your end of the year reading slump validation is very much 😄 validated 😄 As for Ariella, I'd you don't mind some OTT in your books and just basically read it without much common sense (kind of like AH) well then, I hope you at least enjoy it and we'll, add more books to your gr reading goals 😂 and omg. I went through your recommendations of Manga and I bumped the steamiest of them all higher on my tbr 🤣🤭

Oh yeahhhh. I recently heard Amazon was down as well. I didn't realize gr was interconnected to Amazon and now I'm not even surprised because what isn't at this point. Thank you for asking lovely. I'm not too bad and not too good either. Just alive 😁

I only know basic coding but I would 100% learn if they ever decided to let me add some much-needed features 😆 I just remembered that those options only show up on the unique status page, so unfortunately you can't type out a comment including those links directly from your feed 🙃 But it is a thing you can use so wheeeee 🤣 I WISH I WAS A GR MASTER now if only I could figure out how to automatically follow a discussion when I comment via the app 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm ready for some mindless reading so I'll definitely pick one up once I'm off work! The reading challenge grind, I'm going to aim my sights lower next year for the sake of my sanity hahaha.
