How can Simon say “I can’t give you up.” and then says “i can’t stay single for you for the rest of my life”?! Although I think it’s quite funny to think that I’ve seen this situation before. Though I feel bad for both, there’s obviously a lack of communication and everything would’ve been fine if they simply didn’t have sex.

The book imposes a lot of questions that I also find myself asking in the middle of the night. It also made me think, “is it still worth living in a world like this?”. I remember a part where they talked about how we connect things in people’s lives to a huge event in history and there’s no neutrality and it’s only a timeline.
