Dan Cunyus’s Reviews > Robert E. Lee: A Biography > Status Update

Long and tedious! Very detailed but all revealed a person whose life and accomplishments were heretofore unknown to me! I had no idea for example that he spent the better part of his military career as a project engineer for the Army and did not see battle until the Mexican American War. I come away with a different view or General Lee and to that end this book has surely been worthy of my time!
