Parker’s Reviews > The Lovely Bones > Status Update

The timing for me reading this book is not ideal, with the recent revelation that Alice Sebold accused an innocent man of rape (he was convicted and served 16 years in prison), and she mentions that rape in the authors note of this book.

I've had the book on hold at the library for a couple months, so I decided to move ahead on this, but I'm doing so with some level of apprehension.
