We met the tin man and got his background. Mind you, in the intro is this quote, “[The Wonderful Wizard of Oz] aspires to being a modernized fairy tale, in which the wonderment and joy are retained and the heart-aches and nightmares are left out.”

Excuse me Mr. Baum, the nightmares are very much left in in with the Tin Woodman’s story!
