Will be finishing this soon, looking at ways history, narrative, and fiction all fit in to Project Do Better.

I'm nearly finished my second read of this book, and it seems a good support for the Do Better Project, as DC always has been a pilot city for many projects that later went nationwide.

Now that I have decided not to update this particular book, stayed on freedom's call, with a second edition, how do I hand off my current nonfiction project to the community as my contribution to society when the Do Better project has no community?

Now I see, from Ann & Anna, how story moves people much more than the dry facts, even if the facts are maybe a little more actionable?

Why is creating a protagonist from this information so difficult, when writing it up academically was much easier? I guess I was more detached? My stomach is in constant knots putting this information into a real person. Especially looking at the fancy maids trade.

The old slave pens, or slave gaols, under what is now roughly the Smithsonian air and space museum, would be a good setting for a short story perhaps, similar to Ann and Anna, on the ShiraDest blog.

A better title makes a difference. This book needs a title showing the larger application of the work beyond DC.

Definitely need to emphasize the benefits to communities of time banks, rather than how they work.
