O'Donoghue does an incredible job of writing a character who is both a bit of a bully and also being bullied, and idk, I think this kind of thing is important to have, especially for a book about 16 year olds

This is incredible. I'm kinda thrilled that this book has slightly less magic than the first and instead focuses on the hurts and issues in relationships from the first book.

I am thrilled to have an ARC of this book. Huge thanks to The Bound in Whitley Bay (my favourite local indie) for setting up aChristmas surprise for members of the YA book club. I'm even more thrilled that I this book - the other ARCs ran out, and I was told "we only have a sequel left.. let me tell you the name of it so you can read the first one" well, as luck would have it, I had done so a couple of weeks ago!
