It's like Noam Chomsky without the arrogance and intellectual superiority that he exudes. There's definitely lots of history I didn't know.
Nice, sounds intriguing. I'm reading Debt: The First 5000 Years right now. It's by an anthropologist, so I'm not really used to the format as much but treating it more as a philosophy book (arguments that are more about how we _should_ think about things, less about how things factually happened) its been great so far.
