im tryna finish this book but why’s sylvia making it so difficult ?? it’s either i looked like a sick indian or he looked alien and strange like a refugee. like i get it was the sixties nd i want to love this book but so much of it is inaccessible because of the constant othering which dampens the entire thing. I WANA LOVE IT HAS NICE WRITING BUT this book wasn’t meant for me mayne (anyway leme finish)
