I have a small stack of books that progress through the year month by month. For some reason, I’m particularly attracted to how people used to live when we had lives much more tied to the seasons and nature. This one starts in December, and talks about Christmas traditions in the author’s childhood (sometime in the early 1900s). She has a fantastic eye towards nature, and a unique perspective on Christmas-time.
