Status Update

Martha is 53% done

I LOVE being surprised by a plot ark, but it's even better when the opening shocks me.
I actually made my partner stop programming for a moment just so I could tell him the start(l)ing premise of what I was reading. I usually don't interrupt them when they're working... but I was mentally stumbling and needed to steady myself with some shared incredulity.
And I've been enjoying this book since. <3
