Just purchased at a used bookstore, and will soon crack it open. Very excited. Thomas Hardy is the best

Marvelous! My first Hardy read, apparently he is not one of the Hardy Boys. A passionate and enjoyable read indeed, even if some of its characters were deeply described with personalities and flaws a touch too close for comfort… must be projecting. 😉
