This book is just too slow paced. It's taken 170 pages to finally find some action, only to have it all shut down again by Lily's rejection into the Community.
There is also a hell of a lot of food talk that goes on in this book. If I wanted to hear about dirty rice I'd visit my local Chinese restaurant.
