HEY - this has been on my shelf for years - what do you think?

She’s presenting some interesting ideas about how to view inspiration and I am digging the points she raises about how to live a creative life. But some of the storytelling points she uses, in particular the family anecdotes she shared about how she grew up and was raised by conservative Republicans and what they taught her about rugged individualism and why you don’t have to ask for permission, rings very much of white middle class privilege. If I ignore that so far it’s a good read.
