There is a lot of dialogue in this book - almost as if it were written to be a screen play rather than a novel. Leek is on the Earth bound shuttle to warn the Earthlings of an impending attack.

Have you ever read a book where the font changes randomly? It's weird and distracting. I like the larger font - it is normal sized and easy on the eyes.

I did not get a chance to listen to books 1 and 2 on CD - I'm a little lost - there are a lot of characters. So far, not bad....

This is the book, huh? Has the writing improved at all?

The dialogue does not feel like a natural conversation. The sci-fi character names are odd or oddly spelled. Our hero, the Earth born Leek, has contacts with the American CIA. There are a lot of characters to keep up with. I'm taking my time, reading a chapter here and there.

AH wrote: "That's right."Have you read any Julie Garwood? She's who originally got me hooked on Highlanders. Karen Marie Moning just fanned the fire later on.
I have Julie Garwood on my list to read. Not sure if I found any of her books just yet. We loved Karen Moning's Highlanders....
nom nom nom!! I need to read 2 more of Karen Monings and then I should have them all read ;) I tried to get them this week but they are checked out :(
